We would like to share brief information about the Erasmus Mundus SERP Master’s Programme, a two-year international master’s degree focused on training in chemistry, physical chemistry, and materials science.

The programme is conducted entirely in English and is delivered by a consortium of leading universities:

  • Paris-Saclay University (France)
  • University of Genoa (Italy)
  • University of Porto (Portugal)
  • Adam Mickiewicz University (Poland)
  • New partner: McGill University (Canada)

The SERP programme aims to train students in rapidly developing fields related to:

  • Renewable energies
  • Green chemistry
  • Nanosciences and nanomedicine
  • Innovative materials
  • Radiation applications

The training is closely connected to cutting-edge research developments and state-of-the-art facilities, with a strong academic environment (student/faculty ratio: 20/60). In addition to scientific training, the programme includes:

  • a Winter School in data science and artificial intelligence
  • a Summer School focused on entrepreneurial skills and startup development

To support outstanding students, the programme offers:

  • 20 full Erasmus Mundus scholarships (€1,400 per month for two years, including full tuition fee waiver)
  • 10 partial scholarships covering tuition fees

Applications are now open online at www.master-serp.eu.
The application deadline is February 14, 2026.

In parallel, bursaries for scholars are available for institutions that are most active in collaboration with the consortium.

We kindly thank you in advance for sharing this information with students, faculty members, and staff at your institution.

Best regards,
The SERP Consortium
